Organizing your life is not an easy goal to purse, but it’s important to start somewhere. A good starting point for this is to get a to-do list app. Here are the top seven best ones of this year.
- Asana
Asana is the number one best to-do list app for teams and businesses due to its extensive collaboration features that are also available in the app’s free version. And speaking of, Asana does come with a free version as well a paid for one if you wish to unlock even more amazing features. However, its main drawback is that of location-based reminders. Still, it’s the number one collaboration app of its kind, so you can’t really beat that.
- Todoist
Todoist is great because it also comes in a free variant, but this one does not offer collaboration features for free. It does offer them in the full version however, so if you’re willing to make the purchase, they will be right there waiting to be used by you. Unlike Asana, Todoist does offer a location-based reminder feature, but it still does not have any sort of recurring tasks one. Todoist is best suited for users that wish to either be more productive or even improve their productivity levels.
- Any.do
Any.do has the exact same feature roster as Todoist, but it does have one major drawback: it is available exclusive for iPhone users. So if you’re on Android you only have access to Todoist, but that’s not such a bad thing. Any.do does however have more advantages for users that want to plan and regulate new habits.
- Remember the Milk
Remember the Milk is an amazing to-do list app for users that are on a budget. It’s free and it offers the same amazing collaboration features across the board. However, it does not have recurring tasks and location-based reminders features, so there is also a downside to this great app. But when you’re a budget, you can’t really complain about the lack of extra features.
- ActiveInbox
ActiveInbox works in sync with Gmail. But it’s not free and it’s not collaborative. However, if you need to organize your Gmail account better and are willing to spend a few bucks while doing it, you can give ActiveInbox a try. Although it doesn’t serve for much above that, we’ve included it on this list because it works beautifully with Gmail, which is an emailing platform that so many people use nowadays.
- Gneo
Gneo is another iOS exclusive app, so if you’re an Android user, then you might want to skip this section. Or read on, who are we to stop you? But be warned, the following information will not serve or suit you in any way. So, circling back to Gneo, why should you choose it over Any.do? Well, if you’re also an Evernote user, that’s your reason right there.
Gneo is designed specifically to work in sync with Evernote, but it’s not free. However, it does have a recurring tasks function and also location-based reminders, but there are no collaboration features integrated within it. So if you’re willing to spend some cash to optimize your daily routine, then Gneo might be the choice for you, as long as you’re an iOS user.
- Google Keep
Google Keep will be useful to you if you’re also a Google Ecosystem user. It has a free version available and also a recurring task function, plus location-based reminders. So it’s just like Gneo, but not limited to iOS and also free.
